C.A.S.T.L.E. School Age Programs
CASTLE is broken into 3 sessions throughout the school year day.
The AM session takes place from 6:30 am until 8:30 am or when the children get on the bus for school. The AM session is open to all children grades K – 5th (we do allow some middle school children to attend however their bus arrives much earlier).
The 2008/09 rate for attending just the AM session is $45.25 per week. Additional fees may apply when there is a delayed opening.
The Kindergarten Connection Program runs daily at two different times a day. This program is a continuation of the school day where children can practice the skills they’re learning in kindergarten. Some examples include reading, math, science, art, sharing, and independence.
The AMKC (AM kindergarten connection) which applies to the children who have PM kindergarten at school runs from 8:30 am until 12:15 pm or until the bus picks them up for school.
The PMKC (PM kindergarten connection) which applies to those children who have AM kindergarten at school runs from 11:30 am or when the bus drops them off here at CASTLE until 3:15 pm.
The 2008/09 rate for AM or PM connection is $115.00 a week. Extra fees apply in cases of delayed openings when AM kindergarten is cancelled. The Kindergarten Connection program applies only to those children enrolled in kindergarten at the school. Lunch (which is brought in from home) is eaten during both Kindergarten Connections.
Our School Readiness / Preschool Program (which is run through the town) runs from 8:45 am until 11:45 am. There is no lunch eaten during this program. This program is paid for by the Colchester Board of Education and any questions regarding requirements and enrollment into this program should be directed to Shelly Flynn at CES (Colchester Elementary School).
The PM session runs from 3:15 pm or whenever the children get off the bus from school until 5:55 pm. This program is open to all children in grades K through 8th. An afternoon snack is served to the children during this session.
The 2008/09 rate for the PM session alone is $74.00 a week. Additional fees apply on no school days, shortened days, early dismissals and snow days.

When combining more than one session there is a break in the costs as described below:
AM session (6:30 – 8:30 am) - $45.25 a week
PM session (3:15 – 5:55 pm) - $74.00 a week
AM & PM sessions - $101.00 a week
AMKC (8:30 – 12:15 pm) - $115.00 a week
PMKC (11:30 – 3:15 pm) - $115.00 a week
AM & KC (AMKC or PMKC) - $145.00 a week
PM & KC (AMKC or PMKC) - $156.00 a week
AM, PM, & KC (AMKC or PMKC) - $168.00 a week
